Does The Bar Boy do table service?

OMG YES!! We can’t tell you how much we LOVE you and your guests feeling extra spesh! So you betcha ‘table service’ (for seated events) OR ‘roaming service’ (for cocktail style events) is included in all of our services!

What does a ‘typical event day’ for The Bar Boy look like?

Well for us, the day begins with the delivery and setup of the bar with an early arrival (to make sure your drinks are chilled to perfection.) Then, we’ll be ready and waiting to greet your guests with a cheeky little drink upon arrival, before taking good care of you and your guests throughout your entire event!

What kind of events can you help with?

Pretty much any event that deserves great service and friendly faces! Such as corporate events, business launch parties, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or any other celebratory occasion you can think of! 🥳

Do we (the patron/client) need to provide the drinks?

Yes, but the Bar Boy will help you consider and choose different drink types, calculate quantities, and even design and print a bar menu (if you need). And we can even arrange delivery, or pick your drinks up for you, if you need.

Can The Bar Boy help with our drink selections?

You bloody bet!! Maybe you prefer a nice pinot noir OR a particular brand of pale ale? Or, you might have a particular beverage preference for a particular guest. We’ll discuss your ‘beverage choices’ (and so much more) during our ‘Shaker Sesh’ and help you choose specific drinks and quantities based on your preferences.

What happens if it looks like we are running low on drinks?

During our 'Shaker Sesh’, we’ll discuss quantities and have a chat about a ‘drinks buffer’ (for ‘just in case’). But if for whatever reason, we are running low during the event, we’ll either let your guests go with their second choice or do a dash to the nearest bottle-o.

Does The Bar Boy tidy up OR do we need to sort this?

We take out the trash, literally! Throughout the event, we’ll collect used glassware, bottles, cans etc as we go! We’ll separate and dispose of all different ‘rubbish types’.

Do you provide the glassware?

Yep! To save you a few dollars, ‘basic bar glassware’ is included in all our Celebrations (for up to 100 guests). But if you do need to hire extra ‘table’ or ‘cocktail’ glassware, we can certainly help with that.

How long are you with us?

Admittedly, we are a little needy and will be with you for at least 10 hours (including setup, service, and pack down). But our ‘official service time’ is 8 hours and is included in all our ‘Bigger Celebration’ packages.

Do we (the patron/client) need to be there early to put our drinks on ice?

Nah, we got this! We’ll rock up early with ice in hand, and make sure your drinks are cool well before your event kicks off!

Are we able to upgrade our service OR add on handy extras along the way?

You sure can! Given that we’ll already be with you for most of your day, you can upgrade or add on handy extras, up to 4 weeks before your event! To view our current services, extras, and pricing click HERE.

Do you need anything from us (the patron/client) for your setup?

All we’ll need is site access, a little bit of space, power, and access to water. But otherwise, The Bar Boy will bring everything else!

Do you provide the ‘bits and bobs’ (e.g. ice, straws, water glasses, etc)

We sure do! We’ll provide straws, water glasses, a water station (with freshly dehydrated fruits), good filter coffee (we may or may not be coffee snobs), and a tea station with a selection of quality teas.

What happens if we (or our guests) break a few glasses after a few red cordials?

We are well aware that accidents do happen, especially whilst living your best event life! So we do allow for a few breakages, but we may require compensation for ‘excessive breakages’ (as per the terms and conditions of your service agreement).
